Seeking a career in psychology is a great opportunity to earn a degree in psychology.
With a concentration in social psychology and a major in social work, students can expect to gain valuable training in research methods and skills that help guide their careers in a wide range of fields.
The University of Michigan has been awarded $3.2 million in a grant to the University of California at Berkeley, which will fund four doctoral programs for students interested in psychology at the university.
The graduate programs will be focused on “psychology of people and society,” the university said in a statement.
The grant was awarded in 2017.
It was announced in January 2017 by U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, who said that “one of the greatest strengths of psychology is that we understand people, their values, and the ways in which they relate to one another.”
The universities aim to increase diversity in psychology and provide access to research opportunities, the university added.
